  • Provide behavioural support and assistance to students with special educational needs (SEN) and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
  • Implement behavioural management strategies and techniques to promote positive behaviour and create a conducive learning environment.
  • Support students in their learning activities, including assisting with assignments, projects, and educational exercises.
  • Assist with manual handling tasks when required, ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, behaviour, and any incidents, reporting to the appropriate staff members.
  • Participate in training sessions and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in supporting students with SEN.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, promoting their social and emotional development.
  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
  • Prior experience in behavioural management and supporting individuals with SEN and ASC.
  • Experience working with KS1/KS2
  • Background in behavioural support/coaching/mentoring/Sport management
  • Strong understanding of behavioural management techniques and strategies.
  • Knowledge of special educational needs and Autism Spectrum Condition.
  • Proficient in manual handling procedures.
  • Additional qualifications or training related to special educational needs and behavioural support.
  • This is a temporary position expected to work full-time hours.
  • The role involves working closely with students in an educational setting.
  • May require occasional manual handling tasks.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
