Are you an experienced Teaching assistant who would like the opportunity to work with pupils who need extra support?

We have an opportunity for you to work in a school that provides an alternative education pathway to students where traditional methods in mainstream school have failed. The school caters for 120 pupils aged 13-16 years. The ideal teaching assistant would have to be somebody who is experienced with handling challenging behaviour, the children who attend the school can sometimes have social emotional and mental health problems.

They believe that ensuring the pupils feel positive encourages them to achieve more, they are treated with respect and compassion, and they feel valued and cared for by the adults who have responsibility for them. They encourage them to deal with any behavioural/emotional problems by forming strong bonds with them and creating a comfortable environment for the children to thrive. The leadership believe in their students and have extremely high expectations of them, they positively encourage them to reach their goals.

  • The working hours are 8.30am–3.30pm (full-time)
  • Pay £85-£100 per day, depending on experience
  • Specialist provision- Liverpool
  • Start date- As soon as possible.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
