Job Title: Behaviour Mentor

Location: Tameside, Greater Manchester

Salary: £350 - £450, Dependent on experience

Contract Type: Full-time

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Mentor to join our one of our partnered secondary schools in the Tameside area. The successful candidate will work closely with students who require additional support to manage their behaviour and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Working with individual students or small groups to provide targeted behaviour support
- Developing and implementing behaviour plans in collaboration with teachers and other staff members
- Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to teachers and parents/carers
- Liaising with external agencies where necessary to provide additional support for students
- Contributing to the development of whole-school behaviour policies and strategies

Requirements:

- Experience working with young people who require behaviour support
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff members, and parents/carers
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage own workload effectively
- Understanding of relevant legislation and policies relating to behaviour management in schools
