This position is a maternity contract and the successful applicant will be paid in line with their teachers pay scale from day one of assignment. The post is full time and starts in November.

Job Responsibilities
As a Business Studies Teacher you will be responsible for covering the teacher on maternity leave. You will be planning, marking, tracking data and progress, attending staff meetings and will be welcome to attend all CPD sessions. Parents evening will also form part of the role.

Preferred Skills



  • The ability to work as part of a team

  • Will be able to develop effective relationship's with the students as well as parents/carers. colleagues and external agencies.

  • Ability to use initiative and prioritise ongoing and immediate demands

  • Strong subject knowledge

  • Good class control

  • Experience teaching in secondary schools or colleges in your subject area



Qualified Teaching Status or instructor status is preferred and NQTs are welcome to apply.
