The Role

As the Year 6 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 6 curriculum
• Prepare pupils effectively for Key Stage 2 SATs
• Use assessment information to identify gaps and plan targeted support
• Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and additional needs
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement
• Create a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor pupil progress and provide clear feedback

What We're Looking For

The ideal Year 6 Teacher will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Ideally have previous Year 6 and SATs preparation experience
• Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and assessment skills
• Have effective behaviour and classroom management
