Year 5 - Class Teacher
An opportunity has arisen at a ‘Good’ school in the Darwen area teaching a Year 5 class. The class are below national average for Pupil Premium, SEN and EAL.
The school has excellent transport links and a secure car park for staff who drive. The role is long term with a view to becoming permanent.
The Head Teacher is very supportive of staff and is keen for the successful candidate to take part in CPD opportunities and contribute outside the classroom with extra-curricular activities. The school are continually looking to improve and want a teacher who can raise attainment and the school profile.
Staff are expected to ensure all lessons are accessible to all pupils through differentiation. Teachers plan individually based on shared medium- and long-term plans.
The school are very proud of the progress the pupils make and are keen to appoint someone who can contribute to this.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
