Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm


This is an English-medium, non-denominational mixed primary school maintained by Cardiff Council. The school is a two-form entry setting and also has a dedicated ASD base, providing additional support for pupils with autism.


We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 class. You will work closely alongside the class teacher, assisting with a range of classroom and educational activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting pupils with learning activities such as 1:1 reading, spelling, and subject-specific tasks
  • Providing general classroom assistance
  • Supporting behaviour management within the class
  • Assisting with lunchtime supervision
  • Supporting outdoor learning sessions and PE lessons
  • Accompanying pupils on school trips
  • Engaging in training and development opportunities where available

This is a full academic year position starting in September.


We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong behaviour management skills
  • Is confident and proactive
  • Can think on their feet and adapt quickly
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Has a good understanding of safeguarding practices
