Salary: £34,398 – £52,490 per year (dependent on experience)

Support and inspire learners as they transition into Key Stage 2.

Supply Desk is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Beaconsfield, seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting pupils as they transition from KS1 into KS2, helping them build confidence, independence, and strong academic foundations.

About the Role

As a Year 3 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality teaching within a Lower Key Stage 2 classroom.

You will:

  • Plan and deliver creative, inclusive lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
  • Help children successfully adapt to the expectations of Key Stage 2 learning
  • Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assess progress and use data to inform teaching and support individual needs
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reflective teacher who:

  • Has experience teaching Year 3 or Key Stage 2 (or strong KS1 experience)
  • Understands the importance of the KS1 to KS2 transition
  • Is patient, nurturing, and adaptable
  • Demonstrates strong behaviour management and organisation skills
  • Is committed to raising attainment and supporting all learners
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
  • Is keen to engage in ongoing professional development
