Job Title: Year 3 Class Teacher (Working in Partnership with Teaching Personnel)

Location: Islington, London

Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Class Teacher to join our team and inspire young learners. In collaboration with Teaching Personnel, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons, fostering positive relationships, and promoting the academic and personal development of our Year 3 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that align with the National Curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of Year 3 students.
  • Work closely with Teaching Personnel to ensure continuity of support and access to additional resources for students with special educational needs or English as an additional language.
  • Assess students' progress regularly and use assessment data to inform teaching strategies, differentiation, and intervention strategies.
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and motivated to learn.
  • Collaborate with Teaching Personnel, colleagues, and support staff to provide targeted support and intervention for students who require additional assistance.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions, and collaborative planning to contribute to the school's ongoing improvement and development.
  • Engage with parents/carers and external stakeholders to build positive relationships and support students' learning both in and out of the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably with experience in Key Stage 2.
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies for promoting progress and attainment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with Teaching Personnel, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in partnership with Teaching Personnel to meet the individual needs of students.
