We are working in partnership with a Primary School based in Caerphilly is a vibrant and inclusive primary school dedicated to providing high-quality education and fostering a supportive learning environment for our students. They are committed to nurturing the intellectual, emotional, and social development of each child, ensuring they reach their full potential.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 3 Primary School Teacher to join the team on a maternity cover basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to our Year 3 students.

Job responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons aligned with the Welsh curriculum for Year 3 students.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners and promote active participation in the classroom.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-curricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching at the primary level, preferably with Year 3 students.
  • Strong knowledge of the Welsh curriculum and proficiency in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Dedication to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the holistic development of each child.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to upholding the values and ethos of the school.
