Supply Hive Wales is recruiting a full-time Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the CF14 area from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference while supporting pupils during an important stage of their primary education.
The Role:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive Year 2 lessons
- Provide targeted support to pupils through 1:1 and small-group interventions
- Help pupils develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning
- Foster a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to meet the individual needs of pupils
- Contribute to classroom preparation, resources and day-to-day learning activities
What We’re Looking For:- A positive, patient and proactive approach to supporting children
- Confidence working with primary-aged children
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
