Smile Education are seeking a Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join our partner school in Dudley.

This role will be a long-term, full-time maternity cover commencing in April 2024 until December 2024. Workdays will be Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm.

The successful candidate will be joining a warm and welcoming school, where all staff are committed to the development and wellbeing of all pupils.

About the Role:

-        Year 2 Teaching Assistant
-        Full time role, Monday – Friday
-        Working hours 8.30-3.30
-        Maternity cover (April 2024 – December 2024)
-        General classroom support
-        Lead Interventions across Phonics and Numeracy
-        Support pupils on a 1:1 basis as required
-        Prepare learning resources
-        Attend staff meetings and contribute to overall planning and development of the classroom

 

The successful candidate must hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification and have previous experience of working with Primary aged children.
