Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a passionate Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school, where you'll play a key role in inspiring young learners and supporting their academic, personal, and social development.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1.

• Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

• Teach a broad and balanced curriculum, supporting pupils in developing their literacy, numeracy, and wider academic skills.

• Assess, monitor, and record pupils' progress, using assessment data to inform planning and provide targeted support where required.

• Support pupils in developing their reading, writing, phonics, mathematics, and problem-solving skills.

• Promote positive behaviour and high expectations in line with the school's behaviour policy.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, parents, and the wider school team to support pupils' progress and wellbeing.

• Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times.
