This is a well-established, two-form entry primary school with a strong and visible senior leadership team. Staff are supported through collaborative planning, consistent behaviour policies and ongoing CPD opportunities.

The school is particularly keen to appoint a teacher with strong KS1 knowledge and confidence in delivering high-quality phonics and early reading provision. Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour is essential, as the class requires a teacher who can establish firm boundaries, build positive relationships and implement consistent behaviour strategies effectively.

The successful candidate will:

  • Demonstrate strong phonics and early literacy knowledge
  • Confidently manage and support pupils with challenging behaviour

  • Maintain high expectations for both behaviour and academic achievement

The school welcomes applications from experienced KS1 teachers across the M3 to M5 pay scale. There may also be opportunities for experienced teachers to take on additional responsibilities, depending on experience and interest.
