Job Title: Year 2 Teacher - Long-Term Contract

Location: Camden, London

The Role: As a Year 2 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in the educational journey of our students. You will be responsible for creating engaging and stimulating lessons that cater to individual learning needs, fostering a positive classroom environment, and maintaining strong communication with parents and colleagues. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons in accordance with the national curriculum
  • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning goals
  • Establish a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, inclusivity, and collaboration
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular initiatives and enrichment activities
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience, preferably within a primary school setting
  • Strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in the classroom and beyond
  • Dedication to continuous professional development and a passion for lifelong learning
