Smile Education are thrilled to be working alongside an Ofsted rated good primary school in north Birmingham. We are currently seeking a Year 2 Early Career Teacher to join this friendly team from September 2024.
We are currently seeking a Year 2 Early Career Teacher to join this vibrant and friendly school from September 2024 until the end of the 2024/25 academic year. The successful applicant will be carrying out all usual roles and responsibilities associated with a class teaching position, including marking and planning. Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply as systems are already in place to support anyone working through their induction terms.
This is a welcoming school with a dedication to supporting it’s staff in their career growth and development. The school is located in north Birmingham, within proximity to Aston, Lozells, Nechells and Birmingham City Centre. The expected salary range for the role is between £140-210 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply due to support already being place for induction terms, including access to a mentor. However, experienced class Teachers are also encouraged to apply, particularly those seeking clear career progression opportunities.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Confident in supporting pupils working towards KS1 SATs
  • Available to start in September 2024 and remain in the position until the end of the academic year to provide stable support to pupils
