Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join our partner school's team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, inspire young minds, and contribute to the academic and personal development of our Year 1 students. Working closely with Teaching Personnel and school staff, you will play a key role in creating a positive learning environment where all students can succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that are engaging, differentiated, and aligned with the National Curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported in their learning.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to inform teaching and learning strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to support the holistic development of each child.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and school events as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 1, is advantageous.
  • A thorough understanding of the National Curriculum and best practices in primary education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of young learners.
