Year 1 ECT

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and passionate Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our friendly and supportive team as a Year 1 Class Teacher.

This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their teaching career in a nurturing school environment where professional development is valued and encouraged. The successful candidate will work within a dedicated Key Stage 1 team, helping children build on their Early Years experiences and develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future success.

Location: Burnley
Salary: £110 - £140 per day
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: 2^nd November 2026

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is due to achieve QTS before September.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge all learners.
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress to ensure every child reaches their potential.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
