Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting a Year 1 and Year 2 Supply Teacher to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout Doncaster.

This Year 1 & Year 2 Supply Teacher opportunity offers flexibility whilst allowing you to gain experience across Key Stage 1 classrooms. Working as a Year 1 & Year 2 Supply Teacher in Doncaster is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, want to maintain a healthy work-life balance, or are looking to build experience across different school settings.

Position: Year 1 and Year 2 Supply Teacher

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply

Pay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE, no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available)

Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you

About the Role

As a Year 1 and Year 2 Supply Teacher in Doncaster, you will deliver engaging lessons that support pupils as they continue to develop key literacy, numeracy and social skills within Key Stage 1.

Working as a Year 1 & Year 2 Supply Teacher in Doncaster provides the opportunity to teach across a variety of local primary schools, helping pupils achieve their potential while giving you the flexibility to choose when and where you work.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across Year 1 and Year 2
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
• Assess learning and provide feedback where required
• Work collaboratively with school staff
• Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
• Strong classroom management skills
• Positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
