Primary Well-being Support

Rate of pay: £12.82 - £13.55 per hour (before AWR comes into effect) 

Where: Primary School in Nelson (BB9)

Start date: June 3rd 2024

Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of all students or on a 1:1 basis.
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to provide additional support and help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Assist in the creation of learning materials, resources, and assessments.
  • Monitor student progress and report on their achievement to teachers and parents.
  • Support the maintenance of a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Provide support for students with additional needs, including those with disabilities or learning difficulties.

Requirements:

  • Available to work 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday
  • Cover day-to-day supply such as sickness and general cover.
  • Teaching Assistant with experience supporting Primary students.
  • Available immediately to work as a Primary Teaching Assistant.
  • Happy to apply for or already have an enhanced DBS on the updated service.
  • Experience working with children or adults in an educational or caring capacity.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
