We are looking for a friendly, caring and confident Welfare/Dinner Cover Assistant to join a primary school in the Rossendale area on a long-term basis.

You will be supporting children across EYFS to KS2 during lunchtime, helping to create a safe, positive and enjoyable environment.

  • Supporting children during lunchtime and playtime
  • Supervising and engaging with pupils during outdoor and indoor play
  • Promoting positive behaviour and managing minor behaviour issues
  • Ensuring children are safe and well cared for
  • Supporting children across different age groups from EYFS to KS2
  • Working closely with school staff to maintain a positive lunchtime environment

No previous school experience is required, but you must be comfortable working with children, supporting them in play and confidently managing behaviour when needed.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, approachable, patient and enthusiastic, with a genuine interest in supporting children.

⏰ Hours: Monday–Friday, 12:00–1:30pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
