A welcoming and supportive primary school in Wallington is seeking an experienced KS2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis to cover a maternity leave. This role is expected to run for approximately two terms, offering stability within a friendly and well-organised school environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident KS2 practitioner who is looking for a long-term role with reduced planning responsibilities, as planning will be provided by the school.
You will take full class responsibility within Key Stage 2, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons based on pre-prepared planning. The role involves maintaining strong classroom routines, supporting pupil progress, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key responsibilities include:
• Delivering high-quality lessons in line with KS2 curriculum
• Using provided planning to ensure consistency and strong pupil outcomes
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and positively
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
• Assessing pupil progress and providing feedback where required
• Contributing to the wider school community
• A full-time, long-term position
• Planning provided, allowing you to focus on delivery and classroom impact
• A supportive and collaborative school team
• Well-behaved pupils and clear classroom routines
• Competitive daily pay rates based on experience
• Ongoing support from a friendly and experienced education agency
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2
