  • Help maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment
  • Support pupils during transitions, interventions, and non‑classroom activities
  • Build positive, consistent, and professional relationships with young people

  • Experience working with children or young people aged 11-16
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to build rapport with teenagers
  • Calm, patient, and resilient approach to behaviour and learning support
  • Strong awareness of behaviour management and willingness to follow school policies
  • Reliable, proactive, and adaptable attitude
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • Previous experience in secondary schools, youth work, mentoring, or support roles
  • Interest in teaching, SEND, pastoral support, or behaviour mentoring
  • Experience supporting challenging behaviour or disengaged learners
  • Safeguarding, first aid, or related training
  • Driver with access to a car (beneficial but not essential)
