This role is ideal for anyone considering a future career in education, psychology, social care, youth work, or therapy.

  • Supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs both inside and outside the classroom.

  • Promoting emotional wellbeing, confidence, and independence.
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
  • Assisting in creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Celebrating student progress and contributing to meaningful outcomes every day.

You don't need previous classroom experience- we're looking for the right attitude above all else.

You'll be:

  • Passionate about supporting children and young people with ALN.
  • Patient, caring, and able to build positive relationships.
  • Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
  • Calm under pressure and able to provide consistent support.
  • A strong communicator with a proactive approach to learning.
  • Personal experience supporting those with ALN

  • Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service (support available if needed).
  • Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) or willing to register.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to transport, or willingness to travel across Cardiff and surrounding areas.
