The Unqualified Science Teacher/Tutor will be responsible for delivering engaging science lessons to students. They will plan and prepare materials for teaching, assess student progress, and provide feedback on their learning. The teacher/tutor will create a supportive learning environment, manage classroom behaviour, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

No specific qualifications are required, but a passion for science and education is essential. Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is desirable.

While formal qualifications are not mandatory, a background in science or education would be beneficial.

Experience working with students, particularly in a teaching or tutoring capacity, would be advantageous.

Strong knowledge of science subjects, excellent communication skills, ability to engage and motivate students, good organisational skills, and a commitment to student success.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching/tutoring qualifications would be advantageous but not required.

The role of Unqualified Science Teacher/Tutor is based in a school setting in South East England. The working hours are full-time, and the position is temporary. The teacher/tutor will work closely with students, colleagues, and parents to ensure a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
