Are you a passionate and experienced educator looking for flexible work where you can make a genuine difference?

TP Tutors is seeking dedicated tutors to provide personalised one-to-one tuition to children and young people across Corby and the surrounding areas. Tuition may take place in pupils' homes, schools, and alternative education settings during school hours.

You will support learners with additional educational needs, exam preparation, gaps in education, or specialist SEND provision. Whether you're a qualified teacher, experienced tutor, or SEND specialist, this is an excellent opportunity to use your skills to help learners build confidence, overcome barriers, and achieve their educational goals.

The Role

As a Tutor, you will deliver engaging, tailored lessons based on each learner's individual needs, abilities, and learning style. You will help pupils develop key academic skills, improve confidence, and make meaningful progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition tailored to individual learner needs.
• Plan and prepare high-quality, differentiated lessons.
• Assess learner progress and provide clear written feedback after each session.
• Adapt teaching strategies to different abilities and learning styles.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, schools, and other professionals.
• Support learners to improve academic attainment, confidence, and engagement.
• Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures.
• Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of two years' UK teaching or tutoring experience.
• Experience or knowledge of Primary, Secondary, GCSE, Functional Skills, or SEND education.
• Strong lesson planning, assessment, communication, and behaviour management skills.
• Reliable travel access across Corby and surrounding areas.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• QTS, PGCE, or another recognised teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
