TP Tutors is looking for dedicated and experienced Primary, Secondary, GCSE & SEND 1:1 Tutors to provide tailored educational support to pupils across Corby and the surrounding areas.

This opportunity involves working with children and young people who may be unable to access mainstream education, need additional academic support, or have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

  • Provide engaging, individualised lessons across Primary, Secondary and GCSE subjects, following the UK National Curriculum.
  • Develop and adapt learning plans according to each learner's needs, abilities, interests, and preferred learning style.
  • Work effectively with pupils who have SEND, SEMH needs, EHCPs, or require focused academic intervention.
  • Use flexible, creative teaching approaches to improve confidence, motivation, engagement, and independence.
  • Track learner progress and complete clear, accurate session reports following each lesson.
  • Work closely with schools, Local Authorities, parents/carers, and other professionals to support positive educational outcomes.
  • Establish a calm, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment that enables pupils to make meaningful progress.

Qualifications: QTS or another recognised teaching qualification is preferred, although not essential.

Experience: At least two years of UK teaching or tutoring experience delivering the UK National Curriculum is essential. Experience working across Primary, Secondary, GCSE, or SEND settings is highly advantageous.

Skills: Strong communication, effective behaviour management, patience, adaptability, and the ability to establish positive relationships with young people from diverse educational backgrounds.

Compliance: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one, together with the legal right to work in the UK.
