TP Tutors is seeking passionate and experienced Primary, Secondary, GCSE & SEND 1:1 Tutors to deliver high-quality, personalised educational support to pupils in Daventry and surrounding communities.

You will work with children and young people who may be accessing alternative education, need targeted academic intervention, or require specialist support due to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

  • Deliver engaging and purposeful tuition across Primary, Secondary and GCSE subjects, following the UK National Curriculum.
  • Prepare personalised learning programmes and adjust lessons to reflect individual needs, abilities, and learning preferences.
  • Support pupils with SEND, SEMH needs, EHCPs, and those who require additional academic intervention.
  • Apply creative, inclusive, and differentiated teaching techniques to improve motivation, confidence, and independence.
  • Monitor progress regularly and maintain accurate records following every tuition session.
  • Build effective working relationships with schools, Local Authorities, families, and other professionals involved in the learner's education.
  • Provide a consistent, encouraging, and safe learning environment that promotes positive progress.

Qualifications: QTS or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification is preferred, but applications from experienced tutors are also welcomed.

Experience: A minimum of two years' UK teaching or tutoring experience delivering the UK National Curriculum is essential. Previous experience with Primary, Secondary, GCSE, or SEND learners is highly desirable.

Skills: Excellent communication, strong classroom and behaviour management, patience, adaptability, and the ability to engage positively with young people from different backgrounds.

Compliance: Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one, and the legal right to work in the UK.
