Pay Rate: Competitive (dependent on assignment and Local Authority)
TP Tutors is seeking passionate and experienced Primary, Secondary, GCSE & SEND 1:1 Tutors to deliver high-quality, personalised educational support to pupils in Daventry and surrounding communities.
You will work with children and young people who may be accessing alternative education, need targeted academic intervention, or require specialist support due to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Qualifications: QTS or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification is preferred, but applications from experienced tutors are also welcomed.
Experience: A minimum of two years' UK teaching or tutoring experience delivering the UK National Curriculum is essential. Previous experience with Primary, Secondary, GCSE, or SEND learners is highly desirable.
Skills: Excellent communication, strong classroom and behaviour management, patience, adaptability, and the ability to engage positively with young people from different backgrounds.
Compliance: Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one, and the legal right to work in the UK.
As a 1:1 Tutor with TP Tutors, you'll provide focused educational support to pupils who may need a different approach to learning.
Working with Local Authorities, schools, families, and other professionals across Daventry and surrounding areas, you'll deliver individualised tuition that helps learners develop confidence, overcome challenges, and make progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
