TP Tutors is looking for a passionate and experienced 1:1 Tutor to support a pupil in the Crick area. The tutor will provide personalised one-to-one tuition either in the pupil’s home or within a school setting during school hours.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced educator who is passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and achieve their educational goals.

  • Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition based on the pupil’s individual needs.
  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the UK curriculum.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to suit the pupil’s learning style, ability and educational needs.
  • Support the pupil’s academic progress, confidence and engagement with learning.
  • Monitor and record progress and provide feedback when required.
  • Build a positive and professional relationship with the pupil, parents/carers and relevant school staff.
  • Create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Follow all safeguarding and child-protection procedures.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ teaching or tutoring experience within the UK curriculum.
  • Have experience supporting children or young people, preferably on a 1:1 basis.
  • Be patient, reliable, professional and enthusiastic about education.
  • Be able to adapt teaching methods to meet individual pupil needs.
  • Be confident working independently in a pupil’s home or school setting.
  • Be available to work during school hours.
  • Have a strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching or tutoring the UK curriculum.
  • Relevant teaching, tutoring or educational experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enhanced DBS suitable for working with children, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Successful completion of references and safeguarding/compliance checks.
