TP Tutors is looking for passionate and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to support pupils across the Northampton area. You will provide tailored, one-to-one educational support either in the pupil’s home or within a school setting during school hours.

This is an excellent opportunity for tutors who are passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.

  • Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition based on each pupil’s individual needs.
  • Support pupils to develop confidence, knowledge and academic skills.
  • Plan and adapt lessons according to the pupil’s ability, needs and learning objectives.
  • Build positive and professional relationships with pupils, parents/carers and school staff.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback when required.
  • Create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Follow safeguarding and child-protection procedures at all times.

We are looking for tutors who are:

  • Experienced in teaching or tutoring the UK curriculum for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Patient, reliable and enthusiastic about education.
  • Able to adapt their teaching style to meet individual learners’ needs.
  • Confident working independently in a pupil’s home or school environment.
  • Professional, organised and committed to safeguarding.
  • Available to work during school hours.
  • Minimum 2 years’ teaching or tutoring experience within the UK curriculum.
  • Relevant teaching, tutoring or educational experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enhanced DBS suitable for working with children, or willingness to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Suitable references and successful completion of required safeguarding and compliance checks.
  • Flexible 1:1 tutoring opportunities.
