Are you a passionate educator looking for flexible work that allows you to make a genuine difference?

TP Tutors is seeking dedicated and experienced tutors to provide personalised one-to-one tuition to children and young people across the Rugby area. Tuition takes place in pupils' homes, schools, and alternative education settings during school hours, supporting learners with additional academic needs, exam preparation, or specialist SEND provision.

Whether you're a qualified teacher, experienced tutor, or SEND specialist, this is an excellent opportunity to use your expertise to help learners build confidence, overcome barriers, and reach their full potential.

As a Tutor, you'll deliver engaging, personalised lessons designed around each learner's individual needs. You'll support pupils in developing key skills, improving confidence, and achieving their educational goals.

You may support learners across Primary and Secondary education, including GCSE, Functional Skills, Alternative Provision, and SEND.

Every learner is unique, so you'll adapt your teaching approach to suit different abilities, learning styles, and educational needs.

We welcome applications from tutors who can teach one or more of the following:

English • Mathematics • Science • Literacy & Numeracy • Functional Skills • Primary Curriculum • GCSE Subjects • Humanities • Modern Foreign Languages • Computing • Creative Arts • Other National Curriculum Subjects

  • Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition tailored to each learner's needs.
  • Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that support pupil progress.
  • Assess learning and provide clear written feedback after every session.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, schools, and other professionals.
  • Support learners in improving academic attainment and self-confidence.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
  • Minimum of two years' UK teaching or tutoring experience.
  • Knowledge of Primary, Secondary, GCSE, Functional Skills, or SEND education.
  • Strong lesson planning, assessment, communication, and behaviour management skills.
