Role Type: 1:1 Tuition

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated 1:1 Tutor to support pupils across the Cambridge area. The successful candidate will provide personalised educational support in either the pupil’s home or a school setting during normal school hours.

  • Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition sessions.
  • Support pupils with their academic progress, confidence, and development.
  • Plan and adapt lessons according to individual learning needs.
  • Follow the UK National Curriculum where appropriate.
  • Build positive and professional relationships with pupils, parents, and school staff.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress.
  • Provide regular feedback on the pupil’s development.
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in the UK.
  • Experience teaching the UK National Curriculum.
  • Previous experience as a teacher, tutor, or in a similar educational role.
  • Ability to engage and motivate pupils on a 1:1 basis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
  • Relevant teaching qualifications are desirable.
  • Flexible tutoring opportunities during school hours.
