TP Tutors, part of Teaching Personnel, is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to provide high-quality 1:1 tutoring and mentoring support to pupils across the Wellingborough area. Sessions take place in pupils' homes, schools, or community settings during school hours.

This rewarding opportunity involves working with young people who may be out of mainstream education, have additional learning needs, or require personalised academic and pastoral support to help them re-engage and succeed.

TP Tutors, delivered through Teaching Personnel, provides both tutoring and mentoring roles, offering tailored support that focuses on academic progress as well as confidence, behaviour, and personal development.


• Deliver personalised 1:1 tutoring sessions tailored to individual learning needs.
• Provide mentoring support to build confidence, motivation, and engagement in learning.
• Create and adapt engaging activities that support both academic and personal development.
• Monitor, track, and report on pupil progress.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils, families, schools, and local authorities.
• Support pupils in developing resilience, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning.


• Individuals with experience working with children or young people.
• Tutors, teachers, teaching assistants, mentors, youth workers, or social care professionals.
• Strong communicators who can motivate, inspire, and build rapport.
