Job Type: Part-time / Flexible

We are looking for passionate and experienced 1:1 Tutors to support primary and secondary-aged pupils across Walsall, Dudley and Wolverhampton.

Tutoring will take place either at the pupil’s home or within a school setting during school hours, providing tailored educational support based on each pupil’s individual needs.

  • Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition to primary and/or secondary pupils.
  • Plan and deliver lessons that meet individual learning needs and objectives.
  • Support pupils to improve their academic progress, confidence and engagement.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning abilities and needs.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide regular feedback.
  • Maintain a positive, supportive and safe learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with schools, parents/carers and other professionals where required.
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
  • Experience working with primary and/or secondary-aged pupils.
  • Strong subject knowledge and effective teaching skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, flexible and supportive approach to working with pupils.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual learning needs.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND or additional learning needs is desirable.
  • Relevant teaching qualifications such as QTS, PGCE or equivalent are desirable.
  • Flexible 1:1 tutoring opportunities across Walsall, Dudley and Wolverhampton.
