Hours: Monday–Friday, school hours (term time only)
Contract: Flexible – Part-time / Full-time opportunities available
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience and qualifications)

We are looking for committed and enthusiastic 1:1 Tutors to provide personalised educational support to children and young people across Brackley and the surrounding areas. Tuition will be delivered in pupils' homes or school settings during school hours.

This is a rewarding opportunity for experienced educators who are passionate about helping pupils overcome learning barriers, improve confidence, and achieve their academic potential through tailored one-to-one support.

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging 1:1 tuition tailored to each pupil's individual needs.
  • Plan and prepare structured lessons that support learning goals and promote progress.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to suit different abilities, learning styles, and needs.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and schools.
  • Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress regularly.
  • Maintain professional standards and follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
  • A minimum of 2 years' teaching or tutoring experience.
  • Experience working with children and young people in an educational setting.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential for experienced tutors.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred due to travel between pupil locations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
