We are recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Tutors to provide personalised tuition to children and young people in Wellingborough and the surrounding areas. Tuition will be delivered in pupils' homes or school settings during school hours, supporting learners to achieve their academic goals and build confidence.

This is a rewarding opportunity for experienced educators who are passionate about making a positive impact through high-quality, individualised teaching.

  • Deliver engaging, tailored 1:1 tuition to pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities.
  • Plan and prepare lessons that meet individual learning objectives and support progress.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit each pupil's learning style.
  • Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress after every session.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and school staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding and professional standards at all times.
  • A minimum of 2 years' teaching or tutoring experience.
  • Experience working with children and young people in educational settings.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential for experienced tutors.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred due to travel between pupil locations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
