TP Tutors is looking for experienced Primary and Secondary 1:1 Tutors to provide personalised tuition to pupils in their homes or school settings across Kettering (NN14).

This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people who require additional educational support, helping them build confidence, close learning gaps and achieve their academic potential.

As a 1:1 Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, personalised lessons tailored to each pupil's individual learning needs.
  • Provide tuition to Primary and Secondary pupils in English, Maths and other curriculum subjects where appropriate.
  • Support pupils who may be out of education, have SEND, SEMH needs, or require additional academic intervention.
  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
  • Monitor progress and complete session feedback after each lesson.
  • Work collaboratively with schools, Local Authorities and families to ensure positive educational outcomes.
  • A minimum of 2 years' teaching experience delivering the UK National Curriculum.
  • Experience teaching either Primary or Secondary pupils (or both).
  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, flexible and nurturing approach to supporting learners.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable due to travel between tuition locations.
