Location: Cambridgeshire (including Cambridge, Peterborough, Huntingdon, and surrounding areas)

Hours: Flexible – During School Hours

Pay: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Contract Type: Part-Time / Flexible

We are currently recruiting experienced and passionate 1:1 Tutors to support primary and secondary-aged pupils across Cambridgeshire.

Working in partnership with local schools and education providers, tuition sessions will be delivered on a one-to-one basis in a variety of settings, including:

  • Pupils' homes
  • School settings
  • Local libraries

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified educators who are committed to helping young people overcome barriers to learning, improve confidence, and achieve their academic potential.

  • Deliver engaging and tailored 1:1 tuition sessions.
  • Support pupils in core subjects, including English, Maths, and Science where appropriate.
  • Adapt lessons and resources to meet individual learning needs.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, providing regular feedback.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers, schools, and other professionals.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and professional practice.
  • A minimum of 2 years' teaching experience within UK.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
  • Experience teaching primary and/or secondary-aged pupils.
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Access to reliable transport and willingness to travel across Cambridgeshire.
  • Previous tutoring experience.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, EHCPs, or those in alternative provision.
  • Ability to teach across multiple key stages and subjects.
  • Experience working with pupils who may be disengaged from mainstream education.
