Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible, during school hours
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Part-time / Flexible

We are looking for experienced and passionate 1:1 Tutors to support pupils across Banbury and the surrounding areas. Tuition sessions will take place in pupils' homes, schools, or alternative educational settings during school hours.

This role is ideal for qualified educators who are committed to helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their educational goals through personalised tuition.

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging 1:1 tuition sessions.
  • Support pupils in core subjects, including English, Maths, and Science where required.
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and abilities.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and schools.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with safeguarding procedures.
  • Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience within UK schools.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with pupils of varying abilities and backgrounds.
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Access to a vehicle and willingness to travel within the Banbury area.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, EHCPs, or those in alternative provision.
  • Previous tutoring experience.
  • Ability to teach across multiple key stages.
