1:1 Tutor – Wellingborough (NN8 & NN10)

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire (NN8 & NN10 areas)
Hours: Flexible, during school hours
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Part-time / Flexible

We are seeking experienced and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to provide educational support to pupils in the Wellingborough area (NN8 and NN10). Tuition sessions will take place either in pupils' homes or within school settings during school hours.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified educators who are passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full academic potential through personalised learning.

• Deliver engaging and tailored 1:1 tuition sessions.
• Support pupils across core subjects, including English and Maths.
• Adapt lesson plans and teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
• Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress.
• Work collaboratively with schools, parents/carers, and other professionals where required.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and productive learning environment.

• Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience within UK schools.
• Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Experience supporting pupils with diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to travel within the NN8 and NN10 areas.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience working with SEND, SEMH, or pupils requiring alternative provision.
• Previous tutoring experience, either in-person or online.
