We are currently recruiting passionate and experienced 1:1 Tutors to support pupils across the Northampton area. Tuition sessions will take place either in pupils’ homes or within school settings during school hours.

This role is ideal for educators who are dedicated to making a positive impact on pupils who may require additional academic support, alternative provision, or tailored learning approaches.

  • Deliver high-quality 1:1 tuition sessions tailored to individual pupil needs
  • Support pupils in subjects such as English, Maths, and Science
  • Plan and adapt lessons according to pupils’ abilities and learning styles
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and schools
  • Track and report pupil progress
  • Ensure safeguarding and professional standards are maintained at all times
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience within the UK
  • Previous tutoring or classroom teaching experience
  • Strong curriculum knowledge
  • Experience working with SEN pupils or pupils with additional needs is desirable
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Child Workforce)
  • Ability to travel across Northampton and surrounding areas
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
