Hours: School Hours (Flexible)

About the Role
We are seeking committed and enthusiastic 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in both home and school settings across the Rushden area. This role involves delivering personalised tuition to students who require additional support outside of mainstream education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and tailored 1:1 lessons
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs
  • Support pupils with SEND, SEMH, or those not currently in mainstream education
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback
  • Work closely with parents, schools, and other professionals

Requirements

  • Experience in tutoring or teaching
  • Strong understanding of the UK curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Reliable, patient, and professional approach

Desirable

  • QTS or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience working with SEN/SEND or vulnerable learners
  • Background in alternative provision or outreach tutoring
