Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home & School Settings)
Location: Daventry Area
Hours: School Hours (Flexible)
Pay: Competitive (dependent on experience)

About the Role
We are looking for committed and enthusiastic 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in both home and school settings across the Daventry area. You will be delivering personalised lessons to students who may need additional support outside of mainstream education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging 1:1 lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Adapt teaching approaches to suit different learning styles and abilities
  • Support pupils with SEND, SEMH, or those not currently in mainstream school
  • Monitor and report on student progress
  • Work closely with parents, schools, and other professionals

Requirements

  • Previous experience in tutoring or teaching
  • Good knowledge of the UK curriculum
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Reliable, patient, and able to build positive relationships with students

Desirable

  • QTS or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience with SEN/SEND or alternative provision
  • Experience delivering outreach or home-based tuition
