Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home & School Settings)
Location: Cambridge and surrounding areas
Hours: School hours (Monday–Friday)

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable 1:1 Tutor to support pupils across Cambridge in both home and school environments. You will work with students who may require additional academic support or need help re-engaging with their education, including those with SEN or in alternative provision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalised one-to-one tuition sessions tailored to each pupil’s needs
  • Support students with a range of abilities and learning needs
  • Plan and adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback
  • Build positive, supportive relationships to boost engagement and confidence

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or support roles)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching approaches to individual learners
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience with SEN, SEMH, or alternative provision
  • Ability to teach core subjects such as English, Maths, or Science
