Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home & School Settings)
Location: Various locations (local placements available)
Hours: School hours (Monday–Friday)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Tutor to support pupils in both home and school settings. This role involves working closely with students who may require additional academic or emotional support, helping them to engage with learning and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored one-to-one tuition sessions based on individual learning needs
  • Support pupils with a range of abilities, including those with SEN or additional needs
  • Plan and adapt lessons to suit different learning styles
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback
  • Build positive relationships to support confidence and engagement

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, or support roles)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching approaches to individual learners
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification
  • Experience with SEN, SEMH, or alternative provision
  • Ability to teach core subjects such as English, Maths, or Science
