1:1 Tutor – Northampton | Flexible Hours | Competitive Pay

TP Tutors is looking for dedicated and passionate 1:1 Tutors to support pupils across Northampton. Sessions take place in pupils’ homes or school settings during school hours.

We work closely with local authorities and provide regular referrals, matched to your availability, location, and subject expertise—giving you flexibility and consistent opportunities.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition sessions
• Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual needs
• Support students to build confidence and improve attainment
• Track progress and provide feedback

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people
• Strong knowledge of core subjects (English, Maths, or Science preferred)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

• QTS or equivalent, or at least 2 years’ UK teaching experience
• Experience with SEN/SEMH/EHCP students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
