Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home/School Setting)
Location: Northampton
Hours: During school hours (flexible)
Pay: Competitive (dependent on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:
We are currently seeking dedicated and passionate 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in the Northampton area. This role involves delivering tailored, one-to-one sessions either in the pupil’s home or within a school setting during school hours.

You will be working with students who may require additional support to help them achieve their academic goals, build confidence, and re-engage with learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition sessions
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Track and report on student progress
  • Build a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Liaise with parents, schools, and the wider support team

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people (tutoring, teaching, or mentoring)
  • Strong subject knowledge (core subjects preferred)
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with SEN or EHCP students
