Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home or School-Based)
Location: West Haddon (NN6) and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible, during school hours (typically 8:30am–3:30pm)
Pay: Competitive rates (dependent on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in the West Haddon area. This role involves delivering personalised, one-to-one education either in a pupil’s home or within a school setting, helping students who need additional support to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored lessons based on individual pupil needs
  • Support learners with a range of needs, including SEN, SEMH, or those outside mainstream education
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit different abilities and learning styles
  • Build positive, supportive relationships to encourage engagement and confidence
  • Track and report on pupil progress
  • Work collaboratively with parents, schools, and other professionals

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or support roles)
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Ability to deliver flexible and creative lessons
  • Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
  • Relevant qualifications (teaching, tutoring, or degree-level education preferred but not essential)
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable
