Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm (flexible within school hours)
Contract: Part-time / Self-employed
Pay: Competitive rates (dependent on experience)
We are currently recruiting dedicated and passionate 1:1 Tutors to support pupils across the Coventry area, either within their home or in a school setting.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work with pupils who require additional support, delivering personalised learning that helps them re-engage with education and build confidence.
- Plan and deliver engaging, tailored 1:1 tuition sessions
- Support pupils in core subjects such as English and Maths
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs, including SEN where appropriate
- Create a positive and structured learning environment
- Monitor progress and provide feedback after sessions
- Work collaboratively with parents, schools, and other professionals
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a minimum of 2 years' experience teaching the UK curriculum
- Experience working with children or young people
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A patient, flexible, and empathetic approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Background in tutoring, alternative provision, or outreach work
- Behaviour management experience
