We are currently recruiting passionate and experienced 1:1 Tutors to work with pupils in the Northampton area, either within their homes or in a school environment.
This role is ideal for educators who are committed to making a real difference by supporting pupils who require a more personalised and flexible approach to learning.
- Providing engaging, one-to-one tuition tailored to each pupil's needs
- Supporting learning across core subjects (English, Maths, etc.)
- Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and motivation
- Delivering sessions in a calm, structured, and supportive manner
- Recording progress and feeding back to relevant stakeholders
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or at least 2 years' experience teaching the UK curriculum
- Previous experience working with children or young people
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learners
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- SEN (Special Educational Needs) experience
- Alternative provision or outreach tutoring background
- Behaviour management experience
